They have worked as a healer and teacher for over two decades, and are the author of The Cantigee Oracle, which integrates nature, spiritual practice, creativity, and environmental care. They live with their sweet old aunt and a grumpy cat on Chimacum and Suquamish land (AKA Port Townsend, WA).

Background & Training

Nearly thirty years of devoted practice and inquiry are at the heart of my work, and over two decades of professional experience. My training includes ongoing Qigong studies and Chinese Medicine studies, an Anusara Yoga teacher certification, Paul Grilley's Yin Yoga and funcional anatomy course, four years of private apprenticeship with a shaman, a Reiki mastership, and decades of research of and practice with the Chinese medicine system, Yoga, meditation, astrology, herbs, psychology, physiology, breath, and Buddhist and Daoist philosophies.

My Philosophy

I believe in the inter-connectedness, intelligence, and dignity of all things. I believe that aligning ourselves with nature (our own true nature, and all of nature) activates the greatest good. I believe awareness and kindness are evolutionary forces that lead to wisdom. I believe our personal healing and growth generate the most positive impacts possible—not only on our own lives, but on all of our relations, and from there, rippling outwards through humanity, the earth, and beyond.

"Try and penetrate without limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the discernable concatenations, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything we can comprehend is my religion."
