Rae Diamond is a mentor, Qigong teacher, and artist, who works with the creative intelligence of nature. In private sessions and classes, Rae seeks to support personal growth through compassionate awareness, innovative perspectives, and mind-body-spirit integration. Currently, Rae is writing a book about the integration of self care, spiritual practice, nature, creativity, and environmental care that will accompany an oracle deck painted by Laura Zuspan. Rae also enjoys rambling around in nature, and making strange yet wondrous music.
Background & Training
Over twenty years of devoted practice and inquiry are at the heart of my work. My training includes four years of private apprenticeship with a shaman, a Reiki mastership, five years (and ongoing) of Qigong training, and decades of research and practice of astrology, myth, meditation, herbs, psychology, physiology, voice, breath, Yoga, and Buddhist and Taoist philosophies. I am currently in an Anusara Yoga teacher training program.
What's Special about my Work
CARE: I spend a couple hours preparing for your session, am 100% present throughout your session, and reflect on our work together afterwards.
Grounded EXPERIENCE: Astrology, embodied energy work, and meditation have been my daily practices for a couple decades now. What you receive in your session is the blossom of this long-term constancy and care.
My Philosophy as a Mentor, Teacher & Guide
I believe in the inter-connectedness, intelligence and dignity of all things. I believe that aligning ourselves with nature - our own true nature, and all of nature - activates the greatest good. I believe awareness and kindness are evolutionary forces. I believe our personal healing and growth generate the most positive impacts possible - not only on our own lives, but on all of our relations, and from there, rippling outwards through humanity, the earth, and beyond.
"Try and penetrate without limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the discernable concatenations, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything we can comprehend is my religion."
- Albert Einstein
